3Muri is the most advanced software to design masonry structures in seismic area according to Italian code of practice DM 2008.
Developed according to the new code with an original approach, the method FME (Frame by Macro Element), developed by the research group of university of Genova, compared to other solutions (FEM), is much faster and precise.
3Muri is designed to perform nonlinear static analysis of masonry buildings and mixed (masonry and rc elements, steel, wood) by creating an equivalent frame of the building through "structural objects" (walls, beams, chains, floors, columns). The construction of the model is performed in a easy of use graphical environment where all the necessary data for the analysis of the structure are introduced and an equivalent frame is proposed by the software.
Axis VM is a design software for reinforced concrete, steel and wood structures, it includes a finite element solver with a large finite element library to model any type of structure. It is very easy to use and its graphical interface reduces a lot the time for the set up of models. The software is updated according to the latest regulations and in particular with the Eurocodes and Italian code DM 2008 for the calculation of structures in seismic areas.
Axis VM is completely integrated with post-processors Piano sisma. The calculation and design of the reinforcement of all structural elements in reinforced concrete (beams, culumns, foundations, floors, plants) is performed according to Eurocode 2.
For steel structures are available modules for verification of members and the design of joints.
